On-going consultation
DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1921, famed Scottish architect Willie Park, Jr. arranged a course here on high ground near the Ohio River. The course meanders about on playfully, rolling terrain. The course received an update in 2006 by architect Art Schaupeter (tees, bunkers, etc.) when he devised a Master Plan for the course. Our involvement was aimed at continuing the direction set forth in that plan while tending to on-going, evolutionary elements to keep the course going in the proper direction.
Bellefonte lays claim to hosting the longest running event for the AGJA circuit, attracting some of the golf world's best young talents through the years, including names like Ben Curtis, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson and Jim Furyk.
