Nestled on Hilton Head Island in the heart of South Carolina's lowcountry, Wexford stands as one of the most exclusive private yacht and country clubs in the South. The golf course here, laid out originally by Willard Byrd in 1983, provides golfers with a completely varied presentation of the Wexford property, from the inland pine forests, intimate lagoons, the distinctive inland harbor and finishing holes along Broad Creek and the marsh - just what golfers expect to experience with low country golf. More recently, the course was reimagined by Arnold Palmer (2011) but is now looking once again to proactively update the course and playing experience - this time with JDR guiding the vision.
